A Greener World

       It’s very important for us to know about rubbish sorting, because it can help us save energy as well as protecting the environment.
       There are four kinds of rubbish in total. That’s why my mother prepares four rubbish bins of different colors in our home. The green one in the kitchen is for kitchen waste. All left-over food will be used to help plants grow. The blue one in the study is for recyclable waste such as paper, plastic and so on. We sell it to a scrap dealer to put it to good use and also change some money back at the same time. The red one near the door is for harmful waste. For example, butteries, bulbs and other waste which are bad for people’s health will be put in a right place. The black one in the living room is for other waste. We send it to landfills. Although I have to throw rubbish twice a day now, I think it’s meaningful and it is worth doing so.
       Everyone should learn to sort rubbish and make good use of it, and we’ll have a greener world. 

       對我(wǒ)(wǒ)們來說，了解垃圾分(fēn)類是很重要的，因爲它可以幫助我(wǒ)(wǒ)們節約能源和保護環境。
       垃圾分(fēn)四種，我(wǒ)(wǒ)媽媽在我(wǒ)(wǒ)們家準備了四個不同顔色的垃圾桶。綠色的是用來放(fàng)廚房垃圾的，剩下(xià)的食物(wù)都将用來幫助植物(wù)生(shēng)長。藍(lán)色垃圾桶是用于回收紙(zhǐ)張、塑料等可回收垃圾，我(wǒ)(wǒ)們把它賣給廢品經銷商(shāng)，使它得到很好的利用。紅色的是有害廢物(wù)，如黃油、燈泡等不利于人們健康的廢物(wù)将被放(fàng)在一(yī)個正确的地方。客廳裏那個黑色的是用來放(fàng)其他垃圾的，被送到垃圾填埋場。雖然我(wǒ)(wǒ)現在每天要扔兩次垃圾，但我(wǒ)(wǒ)認爲這很有意義。
       每個人都應該學會分(fēn)類和善用垃圾，這樣我(wǒ)(wǒ)們就會有一(yī)個更綠色的世界。
